Description

Masterdeck PU-200 is an economical, water-borne environmentally friendly, two pack car park floor coating which is an extremely tough and durable coating with excellent wear resistance.  It has excellent chemical and solvent resistance making it suitable for many application areas.  Due to its high cross-linkage provides a good stain resistance surface which allows for easy cleaning.  It has excellent UV stability and non-yellowing properties.

Coverage

This 10 litre pack will cover 100 square metres.

Preparation

Uncoated concrete, masonry or tile surfaces

Any loose and flaking material needs to be removed.

Thoroughly clean to remove dirt, grease and contaminants. Do not apply to wet or damp substrates.

Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C relative humidity should not exceed 90%.

For smooth concrete mechanically sand to provide a suitable key. Thoroughly remove all dust.

Unpainted floors should be sealed, please contact us for recommended sealer.

Previously painted surfaces

For loose, flaking or otherwise defective areas, carefully remove to a firm edge.  Thoroughly clean to remove dirt, grease and contaminants. Do not apply to wet or damp substrates.  Abrade gloss-coated surfaces to provide a key.  Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C relative humidity should not exceed 90%.

Pre-testing

Always test the type of surface to ensure suitability and desired result. Apply a test area according to the

following application procedures. Test cross hatch adhesion to substrate to ensure adequate adhesion.  Contact us if further advice if required.

Mixing

Mix components activator into base and thoroughly mix for 4 minutes using an electric drill with a paddle attachment, on a slow speed setting.

Min ambient temperature: 8°C

Min substrate temperature: 8°C

Max substrate temperature: 40°C

Max relative humidity: 60%

Recommended optimum conditions for speedy drying:

Ambient temperature 20°C at relative humidity below 45%.

Application Instructions

Follow surface preparation instructions and ensure application conditions have been met.

For best application apply FloorTec PU-200 apply with a medium pile roller.

Airless or air assisted airless spray equipment, conventional or HVLP air assisted spray is also suitable,

but the paint may need to be thinned with up to 10% water.

A good quality bush can also be used.

Do not apply if there is a risk of rain, fog or other precipitation, and ensure application conditions are

maintained after application and until the coating has fully cured.

If a second coat is required please see recoat times stated in the Product Information section.

Clean Up

Equipment should be cleaned immediately with cold water.

Dried paint may be removed with aromatic or oxygenated solvents.

Storage

Store between 5°C and 30°C.

Maximum storage period is 6 months in original containers.

Packaging

10 litres packed in 2 x 5 litre kits (each 5 litre kit will contain a resin component and a hardener component).

Safety Information

Wear suitable protective clothing. Avoid splashing onto bare skin and eyes.

Always refer to the Health and Safety Data Sheet before use.

Limitations

This water based product will blead through standard masking tape, therefore water resistant masking tape should be used.
