Surfaces to be treated must be sound free from oil or other contaminants, flaky paints, laitance and dust. Smooth and dense surfaces must be mechanically abraded to provide a key and all dust.
New concrete should have an RH% of 75% or less. The substrate should be clean, free from laitance, oil, grease or other agents, which may impair adhesion. Cleaning techniques may include acid etching, grinding, light mechanical scabbling, blasting or degreasing, depending on wall contamination. Existing concrete walls should be sound and free from loose material. Damaged areas should be repaired with a Reepare Mortar prior to the coating application.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE MIXING IS CARRIED OUT IN THE RESIN CONTAINER. Reecote EC017 A/S is a two pack system and it is very important to ensure the curing agent, compound B, should be added to the entire contents of the resin pack, component A and stirred thoroughly until uniform colour is achieved (2-3 minutes). Packs should not be split unless accurate weighing facilities are available. Reecote EC017 A/S is supplied in pre-weighed units of the correct proportions.
Must be used with Reeprime CPS900.
Each 5.772kg kit of Reeprime CPS900 will cover approximately 30 sqm. Each 6kg of Reecote ECO17 AS will cover approximately 20 square metres. Therefore this pack will cover approximately 60 sqm.
